World of BL home page Welcome to World of BL, which gives details of Asian BL (Boys Love) Television series. The site is a database where you can find details of your favourite BL shows - air dates, official links for trailers, OSTs & episodes where the shows can be watched legally. Saturday 30th November 2024 Today the World of BL website is celebrating it's 5th birthday. Launched on 30th November 2019, the day on which the Thai BL series Until We Meet Again released episode 4. Also on that day GMMTV released episode 8 of Dark Blue Kiss, although back then we had to wait a couple of days before GMMTV added the subtitles.
In 2019 most BL series were released on either Youtube or Line TV. Sadly Line TV is no longer with us, having closed down at the end of 2021. In 2019 if we had 5 BL series on air at the same time it felt like a busy week; in 2024 we regularly have 20+ series releasing episodes each week. In 2019 the world of BL consisted of almost exclusively Thailand series, in the years since Korean & Japan have joined Thailand in producing significant numbers of BL series each year.
I started the website because I was frustrated at how difficult it was to find the official links to watch BL episodes and so many people were watching on illegal links, often not realising they were not watching legally. I decided to create a place where people could come and easily find official links to all the episodes. I never imagined that 5 years later there would be over 600 BL series listed.
I want to thank everyone who visits the website. If no-one visited there would be no point in carrying on. Thank you to everyone who has supported me financially over the years. The website started off as a little hobby, but in the 5 years it has been online, the amount of time it takes to keep up to date and the amount of money needed to keep the site online has massively grown. Without your continued support this website would not be here now.
