You may have noticed over the last week that I've not been able to update the website daily. Unfortunately, last week my computer stopped working. It was quite an old computer and I have been struggling with it for some time, and it finally decided to stop working.
I have been able to update the website using a very old laptop, not very powerful and running an out of date windows 8. I am trying my best to keep updating the website, but it is difficult. I really need a new computer, but my current financial position means I cannot afford to get one, so for the time being I will do my best with what I have.
2024 has not been the best year for me. It started off with me losing my job due to by employer closing down which left me with financial problems. I came close to closing the website down as I couldn't afford to maintain it. Thanks to your generous support I was able to keep the website running.
If you are able to help me out financially at the moment, it would mean so much to me and help me out more than you could imagine. I don't like asking for money. All my life I have been lucky enough to be able to support myself but in 2024 everything has come crashing down for me and it seems to be one thing after another.
I know there are people worse off than me and who can't afford to donate to the website, and I don't want anyone to feel guilty if they can't or don't want to donate. Please continue to visit and enjoy this website. But if you are willing and able to donate some money, then I will be forever grateful to you. I know from messages I have received how important and liked this website is to the BL community. For the majority of the 5 years the website has been here, I have been able to manage without help. Hopefully soon I will be able to again, but I just need to turn the corner first.
